My obsession with origami is hardly news to anyone reading this blog. Combine it with a beautiful source material - like, for instance, this gorgeous copper-coloured luxury paper by Ursus - and I'm on my knees!
I just HAD to try this metallic crinkle paper with a fabric-like texture. However, I wasn't sure how much folding it would survive, so I decided to test it with some simpler models. Cranes look sleek and elegant, but are quite easy on paper (relatively few folds).
Here is the first Four, ready for take-off. A loop of thin silver thread allows them to be also used as Christmas tree decorations. The sets of ten will soon be available in my Etsy store - just for fun. If they sell, it's cool. If they don't, well, that's cool too, because they would also make nice Christmas presents for my dear friends! :)

Siin on esimene nelik, varustatud imepeenikesest hõbeniidist aasaga - ikka jõulupuu külge riputamiseks. Kümnesed komplektid on peagi saadaval mu Etsy poes. :)
